Q - Exactly who wrote Go Rin no Sho?

A - Originally, Musashi himself wrote Go Rin no Sho, completing it shortly before his death in 1645 and gave it to his student Terao Magonojo for him to memorise and then destroy. It is understood that Furuhashi Sozaemon, another of Musashi's students, borrowed the original and two dated copies were made by Hosokawa Mitsuhisa - both of which are extant today.
