Iaido Curriculum

We practice two elements of iai - ZNKR Seiteigata (modern) and Muso Jikiden Eishin Ryu (traditional). The modern kata are as follows:

      ZNKR Seitei Iai

While MJER once contained bojutsu (polearm combat) and yawara (unarmed combat), very little of this is extant. The following summarises the elements of iai that are still practiced today:
